Due to an accident sufferred by Dave, Alvin and the Chipmunks are now being taken care of by Dave's cousin, Toby. Toby sends them to school according to Dave's wishes. Are they in for a surprise when they meet an all girls' singing team "The Chipettes". This girls team has been set up by Ian to compete with the Chipmunks.
